bar to MPa converter
1 bar = 0.1 MPa
And 1 MPa = 10 bar. Bar to megapascal.
Formula
MPa = bar × 0.1
A reading of 15 bar is 15 × 0.1 = 1.5 MPa.

About these units
bar (bar): Close to one atmosphere; widely used for industrial and pneumatic gauges outside the US.
MPa (megapascal): Standard for material strength, hydraulics and pressure vessels; equal to 1 N/mm².
Gauge pressure (psig, barg) is measured relative to the surrounding atmosphere; absolute pressure (psia, bara) is relative to vacuum. Converting units never changes that reference: absolute = gauge + about 14.696 psi (1.01325 bar) at sea level. Stress uses the same units: 1 MPa = 1 N/mm².
